Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern really are looking forward to the summer when they can forget this season even happened.
Indeed, it really has not been a successful year for the club with them falling out of the Europa League before the group stages as well as them being involved in a relegation scrap for much of the campaign.
They at least look safe from the drop now, of course, but the less said about this year surely the better for all Hammers fans.
That’s why when they heard that the club’s Hammer of the Year award could now be voted for, they naturally reacted in hilarious fashion – particularly when Jack Sullivan got involved.
Here, then, is the best of the reaction:
You heard it!
