West Ham close in on stunning deal for lethal forward, agent jets in for talks

The West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern so excited for their stadium move now they’re just over the teary goodbye to Upton Park have been met with even more good news.

According to website CalcioMercatothe agent of AC Milan forward Carlos Bacca has jetted into London to hold talks with the upwardly mobile East London outfit.

Ahead of their seismic stadium move, the Hammers have been linked with all manner of stars from around the continent, though chief Slaven Bilic is said to have identified the Colombian marksman as an ideal target.

The former Sevilla man only moved to the Rossoneri last year, though the financial might of the Premier League could tempt the 29-year old to these isles.

The Irons are thought to have bid €20m (around £15m), while the Serie A titans are believed to hold out hope for closer to €26m.

However, the player’s agents are understood to be on their way to London to discuss personal terms while the two parties haggle over a fee.

How high can West Ham finish next season?
