West Ham consider £5.95m move for Euro 2016 ace as Bilic scrambles for improvements

It’s not all been happy families for the West Ham United fans in the Transfer Tavern since their move to the London Stadium as they look anxiously over their shoulders at the relegation zone.

Just a solitary point above the bottom three, manager Slaven Bilic is under fire amongst our east London locals and many of their summer transfers don’t look to have worked out as hoped.

Still, that hasn’t stopped the Hammers propping up the bar from getting excited about reports emanating out of Poland.

According to Przeglad Sportowy, the club have taken a big interest in Rennes winger Kamil Grosicki as the January transfer window fast approaches.

With Gokhan Tore struggling to perform in claret and blue, the Polish international is said to have been eyed by the Irons in an attempt to introduce some attacking enterprise to the ranks.

Les Rouges et Noirs are understood to value the 28-year-old at around €7m, a fee that roughly equates to around £5.95m for the Premier League strugglers.

Having watched the winger in action for his country at international tournaments over the years, the West Ham fans in the Tavern are excited at such reports, rating him highly.
