West Ham are hopeful of bouncing straight back after the international break after a brilliant run of form abruptly came to an end.
Manuel Pellegrini is an experienced manager who has managed right at the very top but the proposition of managing a club like West Ham has had it’s ups and downs already.
The Hammers have picked up some fine results but then desperately disappointed in other games making Manuel Pellegrini feel the need to invest in January so that consistency is found within the team.
A left-back seems to be a desirable option for West Ham in the window as Arthur Masuaku and Aaron Cresswell have both added up several individual mistakes over the last couple of seasons and The Hammers could find a better defensive option.
Someone like Celtic’s Kieran Tierney could prove to be an inspired signing should the youngster continue his quick rise to stardom.
Tierney, (who is valued at £11.2 million on Transfermarkt) has played almost 150 games for Celtic in his career and at the age of 21, that is good going. The Scotsman has rather astonishingly already played 19 games so far this season and that is testament to Celtic giving him the opportunity to blossom but his talent has earned him the right to perform on a regular basis for the Hoops.
Arthur Masuaku is a full-back that loves to get forward but when it comes to defending, he isn’t the most reliable. Experienced Kieran Tierney could really be a big addition for West Ham and could make their defence a lot stronger as they aim to make the top ten of the Premier League.
