West Ham could see deal for midfielder struck soon, manager is keen

Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern really are eager for their side to do some good business in the summer window as they look for serious improvement on this season.

Things, of course, could have been worse this year with relegation at least off of the cards but there really is very little else to shout about at the club at the moment.

The summer market, then, needs to be a strong one but whilst we wait to see who comes in it does appear as though one young star will be leaving out on loan next season.

Indeed, as quoted by football.london, Walsall manager Jon Whitney has revealed he wants to take George Dobson on loan once again next season.

The young Hammers man has been with the Saddlers this year and has done well and so now it appears another stay with the Midlands side could be on the agenda.

Whitney said:

“I would like to try to keep George in some way if I can and I will speak to West Ham in the next week to try to make that happen.”

Certainly, then, Dobson could be on his travels once again soon.
