West Ham supporters have been reasonably satisfied in recent times after seeing their side head into the international break unbeaten in their last three Premier League matches.

Manuel Pellegrini’s men went into their most recent clash with lowly Huddersfield Town, a match perfectly set up to use your Dafabet coupon code on, off the back of beating Burnley and drawing with Leicester City in their preceding two games, and thus full of confidence ahead of their trip to the John Smith’s Stadium. And the Hammers stretched their unbeaten league run to three games courtesy of a hard-fought 1-1 draw with David Wagner’s Terriers, with Felipe Anderson’s second half strike cancelling out Alex Pritchard’s opener to earn the visitors a point from proceedings.

As such, there have been many satisfied West Ham fans up and down the country in recent times, several of whom have been taking to Twitter recently to express their excitement at a post from midfielder Manuel Lanzini, what with the Argentina international seemingly closing in on a return to action.

And given just how influential the £70,000-a-week star (as per Spotrac) has been for the club in recent times, alongside the fact that Pellegrini’s side are slowly but surely beginning to find their feet in the top-flight this term, those Hammers fans are right to be excited about what the future holds for their side when Lanzini returns.

Ultimately, the 25-year-old has missed the entirety of the season so far as a result of a serious knee injury sustained on international duty ahead of this summer’s World Cup, thus ruling him out of the tournament and indeed the whole of the 2018/19 campaign thus far.

And with Pellegrini’s men suffering from something of an injury crisis at present, what with Andriy Yarmolenko and Carlos Sanchez long-term absentees, and Jack Wilshere and Pedro Obiang also struggling, it’s pretty clear that the club need Lanzini back as soon as possible in their bid to climb the Premier League table.

And such has been the level of service the 25-year-old has given West Ham since his move to East London back in 2015, his return from injury will certainly feel like a new signing for a club striving for big things under Pellegrini in the near future.

The Argentine expertly usurped the role of the club’s main man following the departure of Dimitri Payet during the January transfer window of 2017, what with Lanzini going on to finish the 2016/17 campaign with eight goals to his name, before backing that up last term with an impressive five goals and seven assists for the Hammers.

Thus, it’s pretty evident that the 25-year-old pulls the strings in that midfield department and has the level of quality needed to complement Pellegrini’s big summer signings - his prior efforts for the Hammers suggests that he is as good as any of the recent big-name additions.

But with the man himself posting a video of him training and clearly building his fitness up ahead of a possible return in the near future, West Ham fans are absolutely right to get excited about his return - a return that will feel like a new signing for the injury-stricken club.
