West Ham: Fans cannot contain excitement as rumours of a takeover emerge

A recent rumour has emerged on Twitter suggesting a possible takeover could be on the cards at West Ham United, and a lot of the fanbase are jubilant.
According to indykalia News, energy drink company Red Bull, who own Bundesliga side RB Leipzig as well as Austrian outfit RB Salzburg, are looking for a cut price deal to takeover at the East London side.
The company achieved great things with Leipzig, they purchased them when they were in the fifth tier of German football, and they are now a side fighting for the Bundesliga title whilst also playing in the Champions League ten years later, via BBC Sport.
West Ham fans on the other hand have become very annoyed with their owners David Gold, David Sullivan and Karren Brady, and the ways in which they have run the club.
Their frustrations have got to such a level that they famously charged onto the pitch during a Premier League fixture against Burnley and also protested in front of the directors box back in 2018, per The Guardian. Obviously for now this is just paper talk but it will be an interesting story to follow.
Here is what fans had to say following the news:
