David Moyes is one of the leading contenders to replace Manuel Pellegrini as West Ham manager, that is according to @ExWHUemployee.
However, it is thought that the Scotsman would want to be assured that he isn’t just a short-term appointment before considering taking the job.
There is still pressure on Pellegrini despite leading his team to a 1-0 win against Southampton at the weekend. Indeed, it was just their second win in 11 league matches (Transfermarkt).
It was reported by the Guardian that the Chilean would have lost his job had they lost to the Saints, so if they fail to back-up the win when they play Crystal Palace next time out, his position could easily be under threat once again.
Moyes, of course, has already had a spell in charge at West Ham, taking over in November 2017 with the club in the relegation zone and guiding them to safety before leaving in May 2018 (BBC Sport).
However, despite doing a decent job last time around, it seems that most Hammers fans would not want to see the 56-year-old return to the London Stadium with some even suggesting they would rather keep Pellegrini.
Here is what some said about potentially re-appointing the ex-Everton boss on Twitter…
Please say your joking me
