West Ham: Fans full of praise Aaron Cresswell on his birthday - West Ham

West Ham United defender Aaron Cresswell celebrated his 30th birthday on Sunday 15th December 2019.

The left-back joined the Hammers back in 2014 from Ipswich Town and has become a stalwart at the club since his arrival.

Should West Ham sign Jarrod Bowen?

No

Indeed, he has played 192 games for them in all competitions, scoring eight goals and providing 19 assists in that time (Transfermarkt).

This season has been an interesting one for the former Tranmere man. He started in West Ham’s opening day defeat against Manchester City, but with the team losing 5-0, he was subsequently dropped from the squad for their next fixture against Brighton (football.london).

He wasn’t in the 18 for games against Watford, Aston Villa or Norwich City either (Transfermarkt), but he was brought back in for a fixture against Manchester United due to a suspension for Arthur Masuaku.

Since then, Cresswell has cemented his place in the team and has started 11 of their last 12 Premier League fixtures (Transfermarkt).

His performances certainly seem to have impressed the Hammers faithful, many of whom took to Twitter on his birthday to heap praise on him.

Here is what some had to say…
