West Ham: Fans fume at David Moyes’ first substitution against Everton - West Ham

Loads of West Ham fans were left baffled by one decision David Moyes made on Saturday afternoon, as they appeared to lose all hope when he opted to replace Pablo Fornals instead of Manuel Lanzini.

The Hammers faithful endured another pretty dull affair at the London Stadium on Saturday, as Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton left with a well-earned point. Neither side really did enough to win the match, after goals from Issa Diop and Dominic Calvert-Lewin cancelled each other out just before half-time.

One man who was particularly at fault for the lack of creativity was Lanzini, who infuriated fans as he completed zero key passes and zero dribbles in the match, yet was kept on by the manager when they were chasing a winner.

Instead, Moyes opted to replace Fornals as he brought Arthur Masuaku into the fray, and fans were furious with the decision. One supporter said the boss is ‘clueless’ while another simply said the call was ‘so wrong’, but either way it appears no one was very happy.
