West Ham: Fans hope Winston Reid can get his move to the MLS
Some West Ham fans have been reacting to reports that Winston Reid could make the move to the United States and to either Sporting Kansas City or Nashville SC.
The 31-year-old has not played a Premier League game since the 2017/18 campaign after suffering various injuries which have sidelined him for extended periods. His last outing in the league was during a 4-1 defeat to Swansea City, where he suffered a knee injury 27 minutes into the game. The New Zealand international has missed 53 games and now looks to be on his way out of the club.
The Daily Mail revealed that the Hammers are willing to look at offers owing to his injury record and age, with the two American-outfits interested in his services. Supporters agreed that it would be a good move for both parties and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he has been a great servant at the club and that West Ham should grant him a testimonial match.
