West Ham: Fans joke as report suggests Jack Wilshere will return from injury

There has been a positive injury update on centre midfielder Jack Wilshere, however a lot of the West Ham United fanbase have been quick to criticise the signing, after he has struggled to play consistently for the side.
It is believed he will be free to return to the side when football resumes, after overcoming his latest injury, via the Mail Online.
Since his free transfer from North London side Arsenal in July 2018, per Transfermarkt, the former England international has missed 61 games due to injury and his current groin problem has seen him not be available for selection since October 2019, which is over 200 days.
Both the club and fans knew the risk in signing the player, the only reason the Gunners let him go was due to the fact he kept on being on the sidelines. The quality he has was there for all to see, and was why he became Arsenal’s youngest ever player to appear for the first team when he was just 16 back in 2008, via Transfermarkt.
The 28 year-old possibly could have been one of the best midfielders in the game and this was thought by many after he completely controlled the pitch at the age of 19 against FC Barcelona in the Champions League, via Givemesport.
It is sad for the Irons fanbase to not be able to see the best of the midfielder, however they are now frustrated by his lack of game time and he might have to move on to have a fresh start at another club.
Here is what fans had to say about following the news:
Jack Wilshere has fully recovered from his troublesome pelvic injury and will be fit to return for West Ham once the season recommences.

Fantastic news! Can’t wait to see him play for 7 minutes before being out for 5 months. Pathetic gamble of a signing.
