West Ham: Fans not happy with owners after seeing spending stat

West Ham United owners David Gold and David Sullivan aren’t exactly flavour of the month at the club at the moment.
With the Hammers struggling on the pitch, losing seven of their opening 15 matches (Transfermarkt), several supporters have been critical of the way that the owners are going about business, forcing former manager Harry Redknapp to defend them (Daily Mail).
Should West Ham sign Asmir Begovic?
Yes

No

The latest thing that the fans are slamming Gold and Sullivan for is a lack of investment in their training facilities.
Twitter account @WestHamRambles recently claimed that the east London club had spent just £4 million on their training facilities and compared that to the £10 million that they say Leicester City spent on theirs.
After seeing the figures on social media, several West Ham fans have used it as an excuse to criticise the owners once again, with some pointing to clubs other than Leicester who have also spent more money on their training ground than the Hammers.
Here is what some supporters have had to say about it on Twitter…
We really are the Poundland club 👎👎

Our own players (e.g. Antonio) pay for their own personal medical teams because of how inept ours are – and people don’t think the board are the problem 😂😂😂

It’s not a coincidence how many more injuries we get and how they’re always long term if we don’t have the right facilities in place to treat players!! 🤯
