West Ham: Fans praise Robert Snodgrass despite disappointment of Brighton draw

Plenty of West Ham fans complimented the performance of Robert Snodgrass despite his side’s disappointing 3-3 draw against Brighton on Saturday.
The 32-year-old received a standing ovation as he was brought off with five minutes to go following his two goals which contributed to a match that the Hammers would have expected to win after going 2-0 up. However, a late fightback from the Seagulls forced them to settle for a point.
The Scotland international, who is valued at £5.4m by TransferMarkt, scored two goals either side of half-time and assisted Issa Diop’s opener after half an hour. He also managed two key passes, two long balls, two tackles and a pass success rate of 77%, as per SofaScore. Supporters were delighted and made their feelings clear on social media. Several fans hope that Snodgrass will remain at the club for next season after becoming resigned to relegation.

I can’t fault you Snodders, but I genuinely hope you & Noble have laid into them after the game.
You two can’t keep being relied on at your age, it should be the young bloods running themselves into the ground but instead the players that cost a fortune are strolling around.

You always play with your heart on your sleeve. Deserved those goals. The result is what it is, disappointing, but you always give it your all. Proud that you’re a Hammer.
