West Ham: Fans rave over former player Julian Dicks

West Ham posted images on Twitter of former Iron Julian Dicks with the caption ‘The Terminator’ and a lot of the fan base are praising the player for his career at the club.
The midfielder was at the East London side for five years from 1988-1993 in his first spell, and after a brief season at Liverpool, returned from 1994-1999, via Soccerbase.
Throughout his two spells at the Hammers, Dicks made 328 appearances and managed to score 65 goals, however he was more known for his reputation of getting stuck in and making huge tackles.
During his 111 Premier League appearances, he received 23 yellow cards and one red, via Transfermarkt, highlighting why he has been given the nickname, ‘The Terminator’.
Many come and go, but clearly he left a lasting impression as when the club mentioned his nickname, fans would immediately know who they are talking about.

My all time favorite hammer. I remember an away trip at Derby (think it was in the cup) and Dicks was injured and in seats with the away fans. Great ground the baseball ground for an away day.

Julian Dicks is a true West Ham legend. Amidst all the highlights and performances, one of the most rendering stories of Julian Dicks is the fact he used to have two cans of coke and a hot bath instead of warming up for games.
