The Hammers in the Transfer Tavern want to see more than just big talk coming out of their squad as they’ve been reacting to Mark Noble’s comments. Noble said in an interview on the West Ham website that he wants to give the fans something to shout about and believes the club will avoid relegation to the Championship this season.

West Ham fans have struggled to watch their side in recent weeks as they’ve been humiliated 4-1 in their last two Premier League matches against Liverpool and Swansea. The Hammers keeping our bar afloat find their club just three points clear of the drop zone with nine games left to play.
However, the West Ham faithful are sceptical of the 30-year-old’s comments, claiming that the call to step up and take responsibility has come too late and that these fighting comments need to be coupled up with fighting displays on the pitch. West Ham welcome Burnley to the London Stadium on Saturday and they’ll be keen to turn words into actions as they bid to improve their form and extend the gap between them and the bottom three.
With that in mind, here’s the West Ham fans’ verdict on Noble’s comments:
So hope this is true, fed up of crossing fingers! I think the chant to All the Team should be just #DoYourJobEarnYourMoney ………aka #JulianDix

Theres plenty of shouting already just for the wrong reason. How about players donate whole salary to charity if they lose and Sullivan donates a months interest on his 'loans'. #itsallaboutthemoney

How many times have I read that this season?? I’m not deluded enough to say we should be beating everyone, but getting spanked 4-0 by Liverpool was one thing. 4-1 to Swansea. Shipped loads against Brighton/Newcastle, cmon man. We’re better than that!! COYI
