West Bromwich Albion manager Slaven Bilic has confirmed that Grady Diangana will remain at the club on loan from West Ham United until the end of the season (wba.co.uk).
It was reported by the Birmingham Mail last month that the Hammers were considering recalling the 21-year-old, but the Baggies have confirmed that they have come to an agreement with his parent club that ensures he finishes the campaign at the Hawthorns.
The player is actually currently nursing a hamstring injury which he picked up against Stoke City on Monday, something which could have influenced West Ham’s decision to leave him where he is.
It has been a brilliant campaign for Diangana so far, he has featured 21 times for West Brom in the Championship and has contribution with five goals and six assists so far (Transfermarkt).
With the Hammers struggling in the Premier League this season, it wouldn’t have been a surprise if they had chosen to recall him.
The decision to let him remain at Albion has been met by a mixed response from the West Ham fans. Some think that it is the correct decision as it allows him to continue his development, whilst others think they should have recalled him as he could have helped in their relegation scrap.
Here is what some fans said about it on Twitter…
We are a team with no pace, we have a player on loan doing well with pace and what do we do we come to an agreement with West Brom so they can keep Diangana on loan for the rest of the season. Only at West Ham can a club be so badly run and managed.

Would have been stupid to bring him back, let him help the baggies up then we’ll have him fresh and buzzing next season
