There’s not a lot of positivity surrounding West Ham at the moment, with the club sitting just one place above the relegation zone in the Premier League.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side haven’t won since September, last collecting three points in a win over Manchester United at the London Stadium.
Is Manuel Pellegrini useless?
The Hammers have desperately struggled to fill the gap left by first-team goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, who’s been missing for two months with a hip injury.
Sub-standard displays from his replacement, Roberto, and an unsettled defence have seen them concede 23 goals in their 13 games this season, including three in each of their last three fixtures.
Former Hammers centre-back James Collins was at the Tottenham clash and spoke to the club about his career with them.
The ex-Welsh international made 214 appearances for the club over two stints, affectionately being known by fans as the ‘Ginger Pele’.
Here’s how some fans reacted to his return to the club on Saturday:
This man should be part of the coaching staff. Give him a job for life.

Exactly what we are lacking at the minute, passion, heart, charisma, bottle, commitment and the most important EFFORT.

It was a pleasure to see Ginge again on Saturday – we miss his passion. The club needs to tap into that (& Noble when he hangs up boots) to instil into players a different level of commitment

Get him into the staff room ASAP! He could probably get our defence in shape and give a better team talk than MP.
