West Ham: Fans react to Nathan Holland’s Player of the Month award - West Ham

West Ham United youngster Nathan Holland has been named as the Premier League 2 Player of the Month for November (via @PLYouth).

The 21-year-old certainly excelled for the Hammers’ youth team last month, scoring twice in a 4-2 victory against Swansea City whilst also bagging one goal and providing two assists in a 4-0 win against Aston Villa (Transfermarkt).

He is now second in the scoring charts in the division (whufc.com) and naturally he was delighted to win the award.

Speaking to West Ham’s official website, Holland said: “It’s amazing to win the award, to work hard and to be recognised for what you’re working for.”

His impressive displays even caught the eye of Manuel Pellegrini who has included him in the first-team squad for their most recent games against Wolves and Arsenal, giving him cameo appearances in both fixtures (Transfermarkt).

Plenty of West Ham fans rushed to congratulate the young winger on social media, with some even suggesting that he should be given a chance to start in the first team in the coming weeks.
