West Ham fans take to Twitter to laud sublime Ogbonna - Newcastle United

West Ham fans have got a lot to celebrate at the moment. The Hammers can’t get enough of the football their side is playing and are enjoying every minute of it, however, yesterday wasn’t an easy 2-0 win over the Magpies and after the game the fans were in agreement that one of their star men in the win was Angelo Ogbonna.

West Ham fans have loved every aspect of their football this season. Their new goalkeeper, Lukas Fabianski, has been a quality addition at one end of the pitch whilst at the other end of the pitch, Felipe Anderson has been one of the best players outside of the top six in the Premier League. However, in yesterday’s win, one of the star men who the fans couldn’t get enough of was Ogbonna.

For a few games this season the Italian defender has come in for a lot of stick but in the last few weeks the ex-Juventus man has stepped up alongside Issa Diop at the heart of the Irons defence and yesterday he was at his very best. If his form can continue then the Hammers will be delighted and Manuel Pellegrini may have some serious selection headaches when Fabian Balbuena returns.
