Despite seeing their team record a second win from their last three Premier League away trips, plenty of West Ham supporters still slated the performance of right-back Ryan Fredericks this evening.

West Ham Central on Twitter (@WestHam_Central) was among those who called out the 27-year-old following the Hammers' 1-0 victory at Southampton.

Fredericks actually won more tackles (six) than anyone else on the pitch at St Mary's, as well as making five clearances, but he was incredibly sloppy in possession, finding a team-mate with just 11 of his 23 passes for an accuracy rate of 47.8%. He collected his fifth yellow card of the season this evening after being booked in the 56th minute, which rules him out of the Boxing Day trip to Crystal Palace.

Football London reporter Sam Inkersole didn't hold back in his criticism of the defender, saying that he was "very, very shaky on the ball and looked nervous any time it went near him".

These West Ham fans on Twitter were also critical of Fredericks following the victory at St Mary's, voicing their agreement with West Ham Central's tweet:
