West Ham fans have every reason to be looking forward to the start of the new season, with what is the beginning of a new era on the horizon and a board willing to spend big this summer, The Hammers could be set for big things.
Because of this, the news that Slaven Bilic is now targeting a player from one of the biggest clubs in world football, should come as no surprise.
According to ESPNFC, representatives from West Ham are in advanced talks with AC Milan over the sale of their forward, Carlos Bacca.
The Colombian international only arrived in Milan from Sevilla last summer but now he is reportedly open to a move away due to the clubs failure to qualify for any European competition next season.
By finishing seventh last season, the East London outfit will play in the Europa League this season, should they make it through the qualifying rounds.
The 29-year-old scored 18 goals in 38 appearances for the Rossoneri season and could bring real European experience to the Olympic Stadium, having been a part of a dominant Sevilla side, winning two consecutive Europa League titles during his time with the club.
West Ham fans, we want to hear from you! What would Bacca bring to your side? Would he be a coup or is this the sort of player you should expect from now on? Let us know below…
