Speaking to the press ahead of the Hammers’ Premier League clash with Burnley, Manuel Pellegrini confirmed via West Ham’s official website that Fabianski, who signed for West Ham in the summer of 2018 for a reported transfer fee of £7m (per BBC Sport), could be back in the first team by mid-to-late December.
Despite being over a month away from returning to the pitch, lots of West Ham fans on social media were desperate to see Fabianski make a speedy recovery to first-team football after poor results in recent weeks that have seen the Irons drop to 13th in the Premier League table (per the Premier League’s official website).
