The 34-year-old goalkeeper has been out injured since late-September when the Polish international tore a hip muscle in West Ham’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth (per BBC Sport).
Indeed, the former Swansea City star is expected to return to first-team action in 2020 as reported by Football London. Fabianski’s replacement, Roberto, has left supporters pulling their hair out after a string of poor performances that have plenty of West Ham fans praying for the 34-year-old keeper to return from injury soon.
Now, a video from Twitter account COYIrons has highlighted just how much the east London club miss the Polish ace between the sticks, with the clip showing off how many times the veteran shot-stopper has come up big to claw West Ham out of danger.
Here’s what West Ham fans had to say on Twitter about the video, with plenty of supporters claiming that the Polish international has been overused too much to keep the club out of difficult situations…

What a keeper, it’s no surprise really is it tbh.

I want to cry please help I miss my polish stopper

Completely agree with you and it’s why I’m not pinning our current form entirely on Roberto like most fans are. If it wasn’t for Fabianski/Rice we wouldn’t have finished top 10 last season. The problem is the high line, offside traps, Rice the only good DM and poor full backs.

A beautiful sight. Fab is a huge part of the team.

West Ham fans, will Fabianski be able to save the club’s season? Let us know!
