An Everton fan has posted a thread on Twitter talking about the Premier League's most underrated players and he has suggested that Arthur Masuaku is the most underrated footballer at West Ham. This has caused a lot of Hammers fans to heavily disagree.

The left-back has played 91 times for the club since his move to East London, and has even managed to pick up one goal and seven assists, via Transfermarkt. However he has recently been dropped by David Moyes and doesn't look to be coming back into the starting eleven anytime soon as the Scotsman favours Aaron Cresswell.

Even though the 26 year-old does get heavily criticised by the fanbase, as shown in the replies to this tweet, he has managed on average 2.6 tackles this campaign, via WhoScored, and going forward, he completes 1.6 dribbles a game. However he is dispossessed at least 1.3 times a game and for a player in his position this is something you cannot afford to do.

Maybe the full-back does put in slightly better performances than the Hammers faithful feel, however to call him the most underrated player is probably a bit too much.

Here is what fans had to say following the tweet:

Arthur Masuaku.

Serious baller. Very much looked down upon. Can defend. Can attack. Got hit a free kick. Can cross. Very good left back. pic.twitter.com/vXeQMtkvJo
