West Ham are soon going to be in desperate need of points if they don’t start being clinical in-front of goal.
After solving one problem, which was the heavy amount of goals they were conceding, now their issue has become finding players to score for them.
It hasn’t been the dream start the West Ham fans nor Manuel Pellegrini would have hoped for under the Chilean’s reign but things are taking shape, with improvements to come.
The usage of young players has been very impressive and in the transfer market, West Ham could help another young player who isn’t getting the game time he needs to succeed as a top-flight star.
Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen would be a top-draw signing for Pellegrini and his team as they aim to at least reach the top ten this season.
Christensen, who is valued at £36 million on Transfermarkt, has become out of sorts at Chelsea and under Maurizio Sarri.
Whilst just being utilised as a cup player this season in the EFL cup and Europa League, Christensen is a player that could offer so much more than that for another team, like West Ham.
Specifically, the Hammers need a defensive midfielder and the 22-year-old is experienced in that role when playing for Denmark.
As well as the obvious ability to play at centre-back, Andreas Christensen would be one heck of a statement from West Ham, as they look to stabilise their midfield so more chances can be created going forward.
The Danish defender played 27 times in the Premier League last season, proving to be a real asset to Chelsea and under the management of Manuel Pellegrini, he could get game-time to show Chelsea exactly why he should be a regular at Stamford Bridge.
