West Ham must swap Carlos Sanchez for Danny Drinkwater

West Ham must swap Carlos Sanchez for Danny Drinkwater

West Ham United appear to be taking a step in the right direction under Manuel Pellegrini, with results beginning to pick up in recent times.

The Hammers will be desperate to enjoy a run of promising results under Manuel Pellegrini after a horror start to life under the South American.

One struggle for West Ham has been getting the best out of a player that signed in the summer, Carlos Sanchez.

Sadly, the central midfielder was at fault for the last-gasp goal that was conceded against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium. Indeed, the former Aston Villa man has struggled to settle down to life in the Premier League and doesn’t look like improving anytime soon, so a replacement is definitely required.

With that in mind, the Hammers should think about upgrading by bringing in this star…

Danny Drinkwater

The central midfielder, who is valued at £18 million (by Transfermarkt), has struggled to work his way into the plans at Stamford Bridge as he continues to stagnate behind the scenes.

Indeed, the Englishman will be looking to move away during the January transfer window to seek regular minutes after enjoying a successful time of things at the King Power Stadium.

So, the Hammers shouldn’t hesitate to bring the Englishman to the club in the near future as he will be able to provide stability in the middle and has a wealth of experience under his belt.
