In another shocking move in West Ham’s transfer window, Borussia Dortmund winger Jakub Blaszczykowski has been linked with a move to the club according to reports from Interia Sport.
To the Hammers in the Transfer Tavern, it’s served as music to their ears.
It is rumoured that Dortmund manager, Thomas Tuchel doesn’t see a long term future for the player and wants a permanent sale sooner rather than later.
Following the Pole’s loan spell at Fiorentina last season, he could finally call an end to his lengthy spell at Signal Iduna Park.
Other clubs such as Southampton and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are reportedly interested in the winger, who can also operate in defence.
That would give the 30-year old a chance to play under his former manager again, with whom he formed a strong relationship with.
The Polish star has made 253 appearances for Dortmund since 2007, but Klopp’s departure saw the beginning of the end for him.
He was immediately loaned him out to La Viola where he suffered an injury plagued season, only starting 9 games.
