Crystal Palace fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are still feeling low following their FA Cup heartbreak but the club are looking ahead to the coming season with interest in bolstering the squad.
A report from France Football has claimed that a host of the Eagles are amongst Premier League clubs a host mulling over a move for Shanghai Shenhua forward Demba Ba.
The likes West Bromwich Albion and former West Ham are also reportedly
keen to bring the ex-Newcastle and Chelsea star back to the Premier League.
Under contract until June 2018, the Senegalese scored 20 goals in 26 appearances for Shenhua and netted 27 times in 44 matches the year before in Turkey whilst playing for Besiktas.
Across his various stints on these shores, the 30-year old has proved prolific wherever he has been and has overcome injury issues plaguing him during his initial stint with the Hammers.
He left in 2011 following their relegation into the Championship, though the Irons have since undergone a sleek transformation into one of the most upwardly mobile outfits in the league.
Could Ba still do a job in the Premier League? Would you take him at your club?
