West Ham plotting summer move for title-winner, fans will surely be excited

West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern have admitted they can’t wait until the end of the season and they’re discussing the wealth of changes they feel their side needs.

The Hammers have been extremely disappointing in their debut season at the London Stadium and significant changes to the squad are necessary in the close-season, whilst they could also change their management.

Slaven Bilic is rapidly approaching the final 12 months of his contract in East London and reports suggest his future is under threat, with The Telegraph stating the Hammers are considering a move for Hull City boss Marco Silva.

The Portuguese manager has overseen a major upturn in form with the Tigers, helping Hull fight out of the relegation zone and they currently sit two-points above Swansea City with just three games remaining.

Hull still have work to do, ahead of clashes with Sunderland, Crystal Palace and Tottenham, but Silva could be snapped-up this summer if he secures safety- as Watford and Southampton are also considering an approach.

Our landlord has admitted he’d like to see Marco Silva stay-on at Hull to continue the work he has done but feels the lure of West Ham could prove to be too much.

As our Hull fans state, Silva is a title-winner having won the league in charge of his former side Olympiacos, so he has an abundance of pedigree.
