Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are feeling distinctly relieved at the moment and have been buoyed further by captain Mark Noble’s words.
The Hammers have finally found something that works this season with them managing to get results both home and away.
They were unfortunate to not win at the weekend against West Brom and the feel-good factor seems to be returning to the club – something Mark Noble wants to be a part of for the rest of his career.
The Hammers’ skipper said (as per the club’s official website🙂
“To me, looking at myself at the age of nearly 30, I’ve still got a contract until I’m 33 and thinking about playing for another football club would be funny – I think Steven Gerrard said that as well.”
Noble has been at the club for years now and has worked his way up to be captain at the heart of their midfield.
He’s very much a favourite of our local Hammers here in the Transfer Tavern but even those punters that do not support the club respect what he’s done for them up until now.
Our landlord agrees with him, too, and thinks he should stay in east London for the rest of his playing days.
