Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are feeling far more upbeat about their season now but, according to The Mirror, it looks like they’ll still be selling players in the summer.
The first half of the Hammers’ season was very poor but things have surely picked up now with them aiming to make a late challenge for the Europa League spots.
Whether they can do so or not remains to be seen but it appears that players that arrived last summer – that were meant to help – could now be out on their ears.
One such player is reportedly Arthur Masuaku who has failed to impress so far this season for the east London side.
He’s made a number of mistakes at left-back and looks largely out of his depth in the Premier League so his stay at the club is likely to be very short-lived indeed.
At 23-years-old he still has time to salvage his career somewhere else but our landlord reckons he probably won’t be doing that at a similar level to West Ham for the near future.
