West Ham United fans will be jubilant in the Transfer Tavern after they secured an unlikely draw against Chelsea at the weekend which will almost guarantee them Premier League football next season.
David Moyes side managed to get a hard-earned point from Stamford Bridge on Sunday, helping them to build the gap between them and the bottom three to six points, whilst making them a more attractive option for players to join in the summer.
According to reports in Spain, the Hammers are rumoured to be interested in bringing Yerry Mina to the London Stadium on a loan deal next season as the Barcelona youngster looks to prove his worth to the La Liga side.
Don Balon is claiming that the 23-year-old defender is expected to leave the Catalan giants after failing to make an impression since joining in January, with the Colombian favouring a temporary switch to the Premier League. After a difficult time of things in recent months, the punters clad in claret and blue would like to see an exciting young South American defender come in to shake things up.
The arrival of Mina would certainly add some freshness to an ageing backline and the Irons locals would be excited to see what the young talent would be able to bring to their team. West Ham fans in the Tavern will be hoping an addition like Mina could also help to convince a number of other high-profile targets to also join the club as they look to improve upon this year’s campaign.
