The latest reports around West Ham United suggest that Robert Snodgrass will not be sold by the club in the summer, and a lot of the fanbase are reacting to the news.
According to ClaretandH, via West Ham Gossip, the Scottish attacker’s future in East London looked bleak, but the situation now looks better since the return of manager David Moyes, as he is a great admirer of the player.
Even though he is 32, per WhoScored, the player has had an impressive campaign, picking up five goals and five assists in 24 games (including seven substitute appearances). This puts him as second top goal scorer in the club, whilst he has the joint most assists. He also manages on average 1.4 key passes a game which is the second best in the whole squad, via WhoScored.
West Ham fans, do you think Snodgrass deserves to stay at the club?
These statistics emphasise that the attacking midfielder has been vital to the Irons in their relegation battle this campaign, and hopefully when football resumes he can continue his good form to keep the club in the Premier League, via BBC Sport.
Here is what fans had to say following the news:
Robert Snodgrass is set to remain at the Irons for another two years at least following the return of David Moyes.
David Moyes is a huge admirer of the 32 year old who has a year left on his deal and another year’s option in the club’s favour.

Unsure as to why several West Ham fans are disgruntled at the fact Snodgrass will remain at West Ham for the next two seasons – always one of the best work rates when he plays, his set piece delivery is much improved and he is in good form. Snodgrass is a solid squad player
