The Hammers in the Transfer Tavern are dancing on the pool tables and while we can always blame the amount of pints they’ve had, perhaps it has something more to do with recent reports.

As West Ham United gear up for their seismic stadium move to the Olympic Stadium over the coming months, the East London outfit continue to be a club touted for an ambitious summer recruitment drive.

The Irons have been linked with the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Yaya Toure in recent months, as well as the likes of Theo Walcott and Christian Benteke.

Now, according to Sky Sports, they have made a stunning £25m double bid for Bournemouth pair Callum Wilson and Matt Richie.

Both players impressed on the South Coast in the Cherries’ first season in the Premier League, though striker Wilson has been injured for swathes of the campaign.

Still, he notched five goals in his opening six games and is reportedly a target for the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.

Scottish international midfielder Ritchie has impressed with his energy and drive, even being linked with Manchester United.

Eddie Howe’s side are believed to have rejected the bids as the plot for next season, though it certainly promises to be one to watch out for.

Would Wilson and Ritchie be worth £25m combined?
