West Ham have all the confidence in the world after picking up seven points against Everton, Chelsea and Manchester United.
Manuel Pellegrini despite losing four in a row persisted with using his system and style of play, knowing full-well that eventually it would work well for West Ham.
That now seems to have come to fruition and West Ham have been impressing many and providing a massive challenge for the teams they’ve faced.
Their squad of players is up there with the best they’ve ever had and should they continue their great form, West Ham could have the season many thought they would at the start of the campaign.
With the addition of a few players in January, namely Monaco’s Almamy Toure, Manuel Pellegrini can be certain to have all he needs to succeed with the Hammers.
Toure, (who is valued at £7.2 million on Transfermarkt) is a youngster that consistently gives Monaco a great option from right-back with not only his defensive skills being eye-catching but with a modern-day full-back comes opportunities to get forward, which he does well.
Although West Ham have two capable right-back’s, Toure offers something different to them both and he could be an improvement based on these reasons.
Pablo Zabaleta has been a brilliant servant to West Ham, where every single game he will give his all for the badge and that’s wonderful to see for the Hammers fans. With his contract up at the end of the season though, his future is uncertain.
Ryan Fredericks will take time to make the jump from playing Championship football to the top flight so Almamy Toure has a real chance to make a top contribution to West Ham in the future.
