West Ham: Some supporters are keen on club making an ambitious move for Niko Kovac

With Manuel Pellegrini under increasing pressure as West Ham manager (per BBC Sport), supporters are discussing potential successors for the Chilean.
Could Nico Kovac be what West Ham needs? He knows how to play 2 up top and has worked with Haller! Would you consider him a possibility for the Hammers? If not, then who? #WestHam #COYI #PellegriniOUT pic.twitter.com/q5WJphCVGy

And recently sacked Bayern Munich manager Niko Kovac is a name that West Ham fans have been plastering around social media as the next potential coach of the east London club – the former Croatia captain was dismissed from the Bavarian giants earlier this month (per the Guardian).
With Kovac winning the Bundesliga last season with Bayern (per the Bundesliga’s official website) and taking Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2017/18 season to their first piece of silverware this century (per the Guardian), the 47-year-old manager has a CV that some West Ham fans believe will suit the club going forward.
Should Pellegrini be sacked as West Ham manager?
Yes

No

As well as a track record of winning trophies, Kovac’s relationship with club-record signing Sebastien Haller has made the Croatian a fairly desirable manager for West Ham supporters on social media.
Here’s what some West Ham supporters had to say on Twitter about the idea of Niko Kovac joining the club…
I have been saying this since he was sacked at Bayern! This move would make the most sense if we go another direction with our manager. #KovacIn

I would take him he is a good young manager, he knows how to get the best out of players like Haller and we need a change sooner rather then later as we are in a relegation battle

From what I have read about him, he is just what we need.

Think he’s the only viable option if Pellegrini goes, unless they are ready to take a risk and get DiCanio

Tbf sounds like Kovac. He’s a young manager and only been at 2 clubs so i reckon he’s eager for redemption. He has a well defined system but wasn’t allowed to use it a Bayern. I’m sure reuniting with a striker he has success with wouldn’t be unappealing to him either.

West Ham fans, would you take Kovac as Pellegrini’s replacement? Let us know!
