West Ham: These West Ham fans believe Roberto is not to blame for recent results

It would be an understatement to say that West Ham’s form has taken a turn for the worst since the injury to Lukasz Fabianski.
Before Fab’s injury:
2-0 vs Man United
0-0 vs Villa
2-0 vs Norwich
1-3 vs Watford
1-1 vs Brighton
0-5 vs Man CityRoberto:
2-0 vs Newport
4-0 vs Oxford
2-2 vs Bournemouth
1-2 vs Palace
2-0 vs Everton
1-1 vs S. United
2-3 vs Newcastle #WHU pic.twitter.com/3rTZaqSyjG— COYIrons (@COYIrons_com) November 6, 2019
Findings from the popular West Ham Twitter account COYIrons show that the Hammers have only managed one win without Fabianski on the pitch, with backup ‘keeper Roberto conceding 14 goals in seven games for the east London side since coming into the XI to replace the injured Pole.
Yet despite the club’s form since the injury to Fabianski, some West Ham fans on social media were quick to jump to Roberto’s defence. Some supporters pointed out that the poor results in recent weeks have been a collective team effort and that one player should not be signalled out for West Ham’s dip.
Here’s what some West Ham fans had to say about the club’s form since Fabianski’s injury, with some supporters backing Roberto and claiming that the confidence of the entire team has been shot in the absence of the Polish international…
stats don’t lie but confidence impacts performance. let’s just get behind him and make noise. no harm in letting someone know we want them to do well. #coyi ⚒

This shows not only how good a keeper fab is, but how much confidence the team have when he’s playing

You can’t place all the blame on Roberto , 10 other guys on the pitch not pulling their weight need to shoulder the responsibility as well

Shows how bad our defence is if we only rely on having a good keeper to win games!

Didn’t Fab get injured at B’mouth .. the defence have miserable so I can’t blame Roberto for all this mess … he pulls off a wonder save one minute then goes walk about on crosses the next … isn’t PL standard
