West Ham United: David Moyes’ reported plans cause a mixed reaction from fans
A lot of West Ham fans are discussing David Moyes after it has been reported that he has a plan in place as to how he wants the team to look from next season.
According to le10sport, via West Ham News, the Scotsman wants to completely change the look of the Hammers squad and build it around young, motivated players, whilst using the French leagues and the Championship to find the calibre of footballers that he wants.
This is a very interesting plan and highlights that Moyes is looking to stay for the long term and not just focus on the present. A radical change in plans like this is probably needed if the club do not want to be in another relegation battle like they are this season as they sit in 16th with nine games to go and only two points away from 19th, via BBC Sport.
At the start of the campaign, the Irons also had the third average oldest squad in England’s top flight, per 101 great goals. The plans that the manager has in place seem sensible, however fans are still in debate over whether he is the right man to lead the club.
