West Ham United: Fans love Peter Crouch’s latest comments on Mark Noble -West Ham

A lot of West Ham United fans are loving Peter Crouch’s latest comments about club captain and legend Mark Noble.

Writing for The Daily Mail, the former Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool player was speaking about Noble and said: “The one man who I’m amazed never got near the senior squad is Mark Noble. I spoke to him recently about not playing for England and he was relaxed about it, saying he knows his time has probably gone. He’s been so consistent over the last decade, he deserved a cap.”

The defensive midfielder has been an essential player for the Hammers since his debut in 2004 and has made 495 appearances for the club, scoring 60 times whilst providing 58 assists, per Transfermarkt.

Crouch was an England international himself, featuring in attack 42 times for his country and scoring 22 goals, per Transfermarkt, so for him to be talking about his shock at the Hammers captain never getting a chance with is a big statement and highlights how good footballers playing against him thought he was.

At the age of 32, per Transfermarkt, it seems like Noble will probably not manage to appear for the Three Lions, as his midfield partner Declan Rice and Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson are currently ahead of him in the pecking order.

Most Hammers fans were in full agreement with Crouch on this, here is how some responded on Twitter…

West Ham fans, do you think Noble deserved an England call up? Comment below!
