West Ham United: Fans praise Marlon Harewood following comments about the club

Former West Ham United striker Marlon Harewood has been talking about his time at the club, and many among the fanbase have been sending the player a lot of praise following his comments.
The club tweeted out an article of their interview with Harewood, in which he said, via West Ham: “The four years I was at West Ham were the best years of my career. It was truly special. It’s a privilege to be a part of this Club.”
The Englishman made 164 appearances for the Hammers across four seasons from 2003-2007, and managed to score 54 goals and pick up 14 assists, per Transfermarkt.
Is Harewood a cult hero at West Ham?
Yes

No

The West Ham faithful have fond memories of the player, who had a big impact in the Championship playoffs back in May 2005 for the side. The forward scored once in the 4-3 win over Ipswich (across two legs), and grabbed two assists, which helped the club get to the final, in which they beat Preston 1-0, via BBC Sport.
Clearly the player had a lot of passion and time for the club during his spell in East London, and he has been rewarded for his efforts during his career at West Ham as he is appreciated by all connected with them.
