West Ham United: Fans react after discovering Liverpool supporters will join protests about club owners

Liverpool fans are set to join West Ham United supporters in their protests against owners David Gold and David Sullivan when the two clubs face each other next weekend.
It was reported by the Telegraph earlier this month that the Hammers faithful were planning a balloon protest in the televised fixture at Anfield, before then protesting again at the London Stadium a week later. Indeed, it now appears that Reds fans will join the protest by flying a flag on the Kop which will be critical of Gold, Sullivan and Karren Brady, in return for donations for a local food bank (via @gsbout).
Fans of the Irons have been growing more and more frustrated with their owners, with results on the pitch a major reason for this as they have recently dropped into the Premier League’s relegation zone (BBC Sport).
But plenty of the West Ham faithful have reacted after seeing that fans of their Premier League rivals are set to back them up, with many taking to Twitter to thank Liverpool supporters and admit that they love the idea. Here is what some had to say…

How much do we have to raise and where is the link? If this happens I will not tweet a bad word about that club for the rest of the year
