West Ham United: Fans react following latest rumours surrounding the club’s finances

A lot of West Ham fans have flooded Twitter to talk about the latest reports circulating surrounding the finances of the club.
Due to recent events, football across the globe has been postponed, this has left owners of clubs in a very difficult situation as a lot of the money they make is through their games being on TV or match day revenue, and whilst neither of these things are happening, they are still having to pay the wages of all their players.
The reports suggest that the West Ham board are seriously concerned about their finances, whilst ‘David Sullivan is already in circles talking about the financial situation’, via West Ham Fan Zone according to ExWHUEmployee.
Karren Brady has also had to having a meeting with the players, to try and agree wage cuts, and due to all this the club might have minimal funds to spend in the next transfer window. If the situation continues, many of the high earners at the Irons could possibly have to leave in the summer.
After reading the news, loads of Hammers fans are absolutely fuming with owners David Gold and Sullivan. Here is what some had to say about it…
Karren Brady had a meeting with the players to discuss the percentage of the wage cuts, and she laid out the situation of the finances with them.
This means that we are likely to have hardly any money to sign players.

As much as I love and care for the welfare of the club I really have no sympathy for the owners – they have treated loyal fans with utter contempt for years driven by greed and will now demand understanding – there will be an element of karma as they now need us more than ever.

Sell the club then

It’s ok if we struggling we can always sell the ground we own?? Oh wait they have already done that. Bled this club dry time to sell up. I’d put us one bracket below mike Ashley and the state Newcastle are in
