According to Guardian journalist Jacob Steinberg, it is ‘possible’ that there could be a reunion between West Ham United and David Moyes.
Would expect Manuel Pellegrini to be in charge against Chelsea on Saturday. Dyche and Howe look like non-starters for West Ham. Hughton a target, as is … David Moyes. It’s possible there could be the most romantic reunion #whufc

While under-fire boss Manuel Pellegrini is believed to be in line to take charge as normal against Chelsea on Saturday, the Scotsman is reportedly a target alongside Chris Hughton should decision-makers at the club opt to make a change.
Indeed, the likes of Sean Dyche and Eddie Howe are believed to be ‘non-starters’ at the moment, making the out-of-work Moyes a seemingly more attainable option. Someone who already knows the club having taken charge of 31 games during his stint last year, the former Manchester United boss was in charge when members of the home crowd stormed onto the pitch in protest at the club’s owners back in 2018.
Still, despite averaging 1.19 points per match (via Transfermarkt) during his previous stint in charge, it seems the idea of a return to the club has angered some supporters online, with Everton are also reported to be in the mix. With that in mind, here’s a look at how fans reacted to Steinberg’s update.

If there’s going to be a reunion I’d much rather it was Fabianski
