A lot of West Ham fans have mixed opinions after seeing reports that Felipe Anderson could be sold in the summer (Claret & Hugh via @westham_gossip).
Manager David Moyes apparently wants to use Jarrod Bowen and Pablo Fornals on the wings whilst deploying Declan Rice and Tomas Souceck in the middle of the park.
This means that there will be no place for £34.20 million signing Anderson, per Transfermarkt, in the first eleven. This is perhaps understandable given his struggles this season, indeed he has only scored one goal and contributed with just four assists.
However if you compare his attacking statistics, via WhoScored, with Fornals, the Brazilian makes more key passes per game and dribbles per game.
The Brazilian does have quality, which he displayed last term when he scored nine league goals (Transfermarkt), but he has not been performing at a good level consistently this time around, so it is easy to see why opinions on his possible transfer are very mixed.
Here is what fans have been saying following the rumour:
West Ham ace Felipe Anderson could be sold this summer.
David Moyes is keen to use Jarrod Bowen and Pablo Fornals on either wing, with Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek in the middle going forward.

Yeah let’s trim the playing staff down to 16. We rarely get injuries and our fitness levels mean we don’t need to rotate the squad

Would be a terrible decision

I would cash in on him Lanzini and Yarmo if am honest and invest in some Quality young players they just haven’t done it at all .

Would be stupid to keep Lanzini and Antonio and offload Anderson.

Keep Anderson there’s a top class player in there if we can capture the form.. just not as an automatic starter as he was under MP

Makes sense, he is a luxury player we can’t afford them.
