A lot of West Ham fans are raving over old footage posted by @whufc_news on Twitter of when the club beat Eintracht Frankfurt in Europe back in 1976.
The Hammers had lost the first leg 2-1 under unlucky circumstances so had it all to do in the second leg. However they managed to overcome the deficit from the first match as they won 3-1, per West Ham United.
One goal came from Keith Robson, whilst legend Sir Trevor Brooking scored a brace to secure their place in the final of the European Cup Winners Cup.
The latter made 528 appearances for the East London side, spanning over 18 years and scored 88 goals, via Soccerbase.
Although the club would go on to lose the final, the fond memories that fans have of this great comeback are ones that they love to cherish. It goes down as one of the best nights in the history of the club, per West Ham United, as one supporter said: “Great match I was there that night , fantastic atmosphere.”
Here is what some had to say about the game in response to the tweet:

Best game I’ve seen at Upton Park in 55 years ⚒

My favourite game ever. As a 17 year old I watched the rain fall all afternoon and told people that Trevor Brooking was at his best on a muddy pitch, then went straight to the ground to watch the maestro at work.
