West Ham United: Many fans have been happy with Declan Rice’s performances

Many West Ham United fans have felt the need to defend Declan Rice from criticism following his England performances, especially after the Czech Republic and Kosovo games.
There has been a ruthlessness in the way his performances in a Three Lions shirt have been analysed and the Twitter account COYIrons has questioned whether this may have had an impact on the 20-year-old’s performances in claret and blue:

Many West Ham fans have dispelled any thought of this, backing the youngster and suggesting that he has been as good as ever, while implying that he has been let down by some of his teammates in recent times.
There was also appreciation shown for his performance against Sheffield United, in which he made three dribbles, two tackles, one clearance and two interceptions, while completing 90% of the passes he attempted, as per WhoScored.
