West Ham United winger Andriy Yarmolenko’s goal in Ukraine’s win over Portugal was the biggest of his contributions on the night.
The 29-year-old made his way into the box, where he swept home Vitaliy Mykolenko’s cross with a clinical first-time finish, scoring what turned out to be the winner, as shown in the highlights video on the Sky Sports Football YouTube channel.
There was also a slightly more subtle moment of brilliance from the Ukrainian that has got people talking:

Many West Ham fans were impressed with his piece of skill, as they have been with his performances in claret and blue this campaign.
Having returned from injury, he has made 6 starts and 1 substitute appearance, scoring 3 goals, while making 1.3 key passes and 0.6 dribbles per game, as well as completing 83.5% of the passes he has attempted, as per WhoScored.
With this latest influential performance in the bag – helping Ukraine top their Euro 2020 qualifying group – many Hammers will be hoping he can fire their team to victory against Everton on Saturday.
A selection of Twitter reaction to his brilliance, including posts from loving West Ham fans, can be seen below:
Glad to see after all the injury issues of last year that Yarmolenko is back to full fitness and in incredible form. Was brilliant for Ukraine over the past two games with another decent finish to add to his seasons goal tally. Class player.
