West Ham United: Many fans have been welcoming Mipo Odubeko

West Ham United have signed young striker Mipo Odubeko from Manchester United, as reported by the club’s official channels.

There are exciting signs based off what he achieved last season, having got a total of 35 goals in the Red Devils’ youth ranks, as well as netting on his U18 Premier League debut, while he has also been capped by the Republic of Ireland at U17s level.

The 17-year-old has tweeted about his delight after signing for the Hammers:

Many West Ham fans have been quick to welcome their new and exciting recruit, with tweets flooding into the replies.

There is a feeling of smugness among some of them, due to the fact he decided to leave Man United to join the club, while there is also anticipation for what he will be able to offer going forward.

Fans will have to be patient to see him in the first-team though, as he is initially going into the U18s.
