West Ham United: Many fans loved to see Mark Noble’s ovation against Norwich City

There was plenty of good feeling around London Stadium when West Ham United beat Norwich City 2-0 in their final game before the international break.
Numerous players on the team gave brilliant performances, with Arthur Masuaku and Felipe Anderson both making the WhoScored Team of the Week for the part they played in the victory.
One man who was a beneficiary of that feel-good factor was Mark Noble:

When he was brought off in the 85th minute and replaced by Carlos Sanchez, Mr. West Ham received a superb ovation from the Hammers faithful, which was well deserved, as he made 5 tackles, 2 dribbles and 1 key pass throughout the game.
This comes after he scored the opener from the penalty spot in the 3-1 win against Watford, just three minutes after his return from injury, while also showing his quality on the ball with a 92% pass success rate.
The 32-year-old is still an integral player for West Ham and it is no coincidence that the Hammers have won both of the games he has played in this season.
A selection of Twitter reaction to the ovation, including posts from loving West Ham fans, can be seen below:
Don’t think I’ve ever seen a better reception for anyone

Noble’s ovation and applause by the fans when coming off against Norwich shows exactly how important to the club, not just the team, Noble is and always will be. Superb two games this season for Noble and no coincidence his return to the side has resulted in an upturn in our form
